The Jordon Group Support Dr Kershaw's Hospice Oldham

Its is part of our company ethos to support charities, giving something back where we can. We like to give help and participate to worthy causes as part of an ongoing project for The Jordon Group.

This summer, we have chosen to support our local community, Dr Kershaw's Hospice in Oldham. Dr Kershaw's Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with non-curable life-threatening illnesses in a peaceful and homely environment. In addition it provides support for patient's relatives and carers and mainly relies on support by fund raising activities, donations, legacies, income from hospice shops and revenue from the hospice lottery.

In order to help this needy cause, The Jordon Group is paying for disadvantaged children and their carers to attend a "Circus Starr" circus show in September 2011. Audiences will be taken on a journey from the strolling minstrels and jesters of Medieval Times through the circus of our Victorian ancestors to the contemporary circus of the 21st Century.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the children and will be an evening sure to bring a smile to their little faces!
