New Jordon Site

Since we last checked in April’s newsletter we’ve had the pleasure of taking part in an abundance of projects including a pottery painting studio and more!

For an overview of the projects, please see below:

Pottery Class…?

Yes, that’s right, although we are well renowned for our works within refrigeration maintenance and installations. We have recently completed the redevelopment of the Pottery Painting Studio for Center Parcs at Longleat Forest.

Visitors are now able to uncover their inner Bernard Leach. For more on the activities you will be able to do, please see the Center Parcs website.

Off to the Lakes!

We had the absolute pleasure of taking a trip to Cumbria, which is notorious for the Lake District. The purpose for our visit was to complete the redevelopment of the bathroom facility for Center Parcs at Whinfell Forest in Cumbria. Visitors can now use the bathroom in pure luxury.

An Iconic Venue That Fits Any Occasion!

Going back to 1929, Manchester Hall has been left mostly untouched for decades and its new owners have spent two long years lovingly restoring and refurbishing it. Many original features have been preserved including a reception desk built out of an old organ, which now greets guests as they walk in.

We had the joy of taking part in the multimillion-pound renovation by being appointed as the Air-Conditioning Contracts.

Visiting The Shropshire Hills

The Jordon Group recently completed a turnkey fit-out of Applegreen Forecourt in Ludlow, Shropshire. Featuring: a super modern Subway, food-to-go and a large seating area. Be sure to find out more of this project by clicking the link.

Basildon Bound!

Having completed a previous project for Mrs Patel at her Londis store, she had the desire to work with us again to bring her new business venture to life – “The Offy”.

Project managed by Mike Perry, this fit-out was completed within the two-week time frame, including in the works was ceiling works, lighting, shelving, refrigeration and a swerve looking shop sign.

Website Progression

We are continuing to work alongside Liverpool based web company Coffee Fuelled on our website. Despite not being able to show too much too soon, their lead designer (Alan Hansen) is confident with the design, showing a visual representation of how far we have come has a company. We can’t wait to show you all a sneak peek… You want to see it? Oh fine! Just a small peak!

On May 10th we were celebrating over 60 years of Mr E. Jordon Senior winning the Frigidaire ‘Sales Person of the Year’ Cup. Mr Jordon Senior initially worked for the Frigidaire Company back in the ‘50’s. Achieving so much in his role, he decided to venture out to set up his own refrigeration business and so E Jordon Refrigeration Ltd was born!

Mr E Jordon

On the 2nd & 3rd May, Paul Jordon, MD attended (with fellow Shopfitting Partners, Gondella) took to the stage to discuss how bespoke shopfitting is essential for boosting revenue. He also spoke out about how pharmacy retailers can maximise the capacity and product range in their sales thus increasing footfall and boosting sales. For more about this amazing forum in Marbella, be sure to click here.

Gondella are international shelving specialists, manufacturing the highest quality, bespoke shelving solutions.

We are currently working on a big project for Center Parcs Whinfell Forest at their Parc Market. We built the temporary Parc Market on 4th June whilst works on the redevelopment of the main Parc Market commenced.

That’s it for now! So be sure to check back in August for our next quarterly newsletter. Also, keep an eye out for our projects page as it gets updated rather frequently. On behalf of everyone at The Jordon Group, thank you for stopping by and see you in August!
