HGS “The Stage” Fuel Forecourt

HGS “The Stage” Fuel Forecourt

In the summer of 2020, we had the pleasure of completely redeveloping this state-of-the-art forecourt located on Leicester Road, Wigston in Leicester. With a vision to design a forecourt of the future, owners Joe and Peter Hockenhall wanted to create an experience rather than just an average pit-stop, naming it “The Stage”.

This super modern Fuel Forecourt features a Spar Convenience Store with an Off Licence, a plush Insomnia Coffee Shop and the first UK franchise of Healthy fast-food retailer ‘Freshly Chopped’. Founded in 2012 Freshly Chopped mission is to make it as easy as possible for people to eat healthy on the go and they have certainly achieved that here at The Stage with thousands of motorists passing each day.

The Stage was project managed by our Retail Design Consultant Chris Moore and his team of highly skilled fitters, the development was delivered within time and budget, and to the highest standard.

Owners Joe and his father Peter were thrilled with the result. They commented, “we’re really happy with the work The Jordon Group have completed for us, Chris was a pleasure to work with and he was there every step of the way, highly recommended”.

Here at The Jordon Group we would like to wish Joe and Peter the very best of luck with their fantastic new venture, we’re sure it will be a huge success; thank you for choosing us as your fit-out contractor!

Costcutter Southborough

Costcutter Southborough

We would like to share and celebrate the success of the opening of Zola group’s 6th store with CSG in Southborough in Kent. Peter Patel has taken over the business which has been a part of the symbol group for many years.
The 1500 sq ft store had been closed for over 12 months and has now reopened after a much-needed refurbishment with a 250k investment fitted-out out by us, project managed by Paul Rosser and the dedicated install team.

The store launch was a huge success and enabled the first 100 customers to receive a free co-op goodie bag, handed out to shoppers by the local Mayor.
Also, with 25 winning golden ticket prizes funded by suppliers & Mr Patel, this was a huge hit and the queue to get in was 40 people long for over an hour! This was reflected in a fantastic first day sales of £4,100 (10% Tobacco 25% fresh sales mix) with the store trading 10am-9pm.

Within the store there are over 1300 co-op products driving value and basket spend and over 500 mix and match Costcutter multi-buys. There are also three local suppliers Southborough butchers, Korkers and Kentish Mayde pies, and an exciting new arrival of Vegan & Free from , Freal , cook frozen food and 100% free from packaging range which will be a key focus for the group as they plan to do two more installs by year end.

We would like to wish this flagship store continued success in the future and to thank Mr Patel and CSG Group for choosing The Jordon Group as their fit-out specialists.

The Co-operative Food have recently taken on an exciting new venture with Insomnia Coffee Shop and The Jordon Group were very honoured to complete the fit-out on the first franchise in Littleover, Derby.
The project was completed on time and within budget and it has been trading phenomenally well since its launch, even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic due to people shopping more locally.
The Co-operative Food are thrilled with the whole project which was managed by our Retail Design Consultant Chris Moore and his dedicated install team.

Duncan Staniforth, the Property Project Delivery Manager commented “it’s always nervous using a new contractor for the first time but The Jordon Group have turned around a brilliant job with no problems or hiccups and I appreciate Chris guiding us through the first coffee shop fit out”.
