Costcutter Southborough

We would like to share and celebrate the success of the opening of Zola group’s 6th store with CSG in Southborough in Kent. Peter Patel has taken over the business which has been a part of the symbol group for many years.
The 1500 sq ft store had been closed for over 12 months and has now reopened after a much-needed refurbishment with a 250k investment fitted-out out by us, project managed by Paul Rosser and the dedicated install team.

The store launch was a huge success and enabled the first 100 customers to receive a free co-op goodie bag, handed out to shoppers by the local Mayor.
Also, with 25 winning golden ticket prizes funded by suppliers & Mr Patel, this was a huge hit and the queue to get in was 40 people long for over an hour! This was reflected in a fantastic first day sales of £4,100 (10% Tobacco 25% fresh sales mix) with the store trading 10am-9pm.

Within the store there are over 1300 co-op products driving value and basket spend and over 500 mix and match Costcutter multi-buys. There are also three local suppliers Southborough butchers, Korkers and Kentish Mayde pies, and an exciting new arrival of Vegan & Free from , Freal , cook frozen food and 100% free from packaging range which will be a key focus for the group as they plan to do two more installs by year end.

We would like to wish this flagship store continued success in the future and to thank Mr Patel and CSG Group for choosing The Jordon Group as their fit-out specialists.
